Le Prix Pictet

The Prix Pictet is a photography competition focusing on sustainable topics. Artists from all over the world compete, and this year's theme was "The Earth". The winner is the Israeli Nadav Kander which had some amazing shots (one of them is that one...obviously) and his idea was to take pictures of the Yangtze River - 6'500Km long - more people live along its banks than in the USA, actually one in eighteen people on the planet live and depend on this river.
It's a good picture and a good initiative from a Swiss Bank. I'm happy.
