San Pedro de Atacama. Another world.

San Pedro de Atacama is located North East of Chile between the Andes and the Pacific ocean. It is the driest desert on Earth - it hardly ever rains here. 

The place is magic, I felt like I was on another planet. The coulours, the scenery, the bizarre natural formation and the numerous lagoons make this area one of the most wonderful places on Earth.

I will not write much and let the pictures speak by themselves (no photography talent needed here, the place is so amazing that any brainless monkey can take great shots here).

Lagunas altiplanicas and the Salar de Atacama. Lake of salt that you can walk on but also water lakes with high density in salt enabling you to float on the water (Dead sea style).
